I was thinking of starting a troupe for our high school.  I was wondering what all happens.  Are there competitions?  What are the events that I have looked through?  What does one do?  How often do troupe events occur?  etc. etc.  Any and all info would help.  Thanks! ------------------------------ ...

I teach and direct in a small size district (about 650). My guy population has been dwindling as they are all graduating. How have any of you gotten more guys to be involved? I say do it. I have always pushed the envelope with putting real drama on stage. The kids and audiences usually love it, it's the administration that seems to have problem. The must difficult would be the usage of the f-word, other than that, it is amazing when local audiences see real life on stage. ...
