Our program is able to pay its staff much in the same way.  We have contract-established extra-duty pay amounts for a director and assistants.  The two numbers can be added together and then redistributed into many smaller pieces, for example, to pay pit musicians, set builders, choreographers, etc. ...

Dear colleagues, I need your help. Our new building principal is targeting and very likely eliminating our long-standing tradition of putting up a school day preview of our musicals/plays. To explain, we have been fortunate to be able to charge a reduced ticket price to allow our student body to come ...

I realize it might be too far of a drive from Troy, but you should consider renting from Grand Rapids Civic Theater.  They have a very nice Greased Lightning car built over an electric golf cart.  Their scenic designer, David Len, is a good guy and quite reasonable on rental rates.  I have rented that ...

Does anyone know what a good stage floor paint would be? We have tried so many varieties over the years, but nothing seems to be as good as the original paint job when we opened our new auditorium eight years ago. Since then, we paint the stage floor for specific shows, and then afterwards we paint it ...
