We don't have a fly system and pulled it off. We built wagons and had our library, conservatory, study and kitchen on them. The dining room was played in front of our mid traveler and we had a platform up stage for our door and main hall. Robert Jessup, M.M.M. EdFranklin High SchoolFranklin,NC828-524-6467 ...

We did Clue this past season and my kids enjoyed it. You could probably expand the cast by adding maids and other butlers and agents at the end, but there isn't much more you can do besides that. We rented our music from ROCS and that made life so much easier for me. If you have any other questions let ...

Has anyone else had or is having issues with Broadway Licensing? I'm trying to get information and an invoice for the music for Clue on Stage and my reps mailbox is full and not accepting new messages and I've spoken with someone else, but they haven't emailed me the invoice like they said they were ...

I am currently getting mine solely online through Regent University in Virginia Beach. It's been an interesting program and I've learned a lot, I'll never be a published playwright and that's okay, and will finish up in May of 2019 if everything goes to plan. Its about a two year program with me taking ...

We've performed DUI=DOA (https://www.histage.com/duidoa) several years ago. It's two one acts with some flexible casting and some really good tech moments. Highly recommended. Robert JessupFranklin High SchoolFranklin, NC

Our administration only allows academic honor cords to be worn at graduation (4.0 GPA, 3.5 GPA and NC Scholars), everything else (fine arts, FFA, National Honor Society, Red Cross etc.) is allowed to be worn at our senior awards day when all the other awards are handed out as well. It's not the perfect ...

So for the first time in about 10 years since I've taken over the Drama department at the high school I'm working in, I just cancelled our spring musical. There were to many issues with drama between students, complaining about casting (before I even held auditions) and other things. So my question is ...

This group has been amazing, and thank you for all the help you all have provided. I was told that I would be teaching a beginning Drama class for the first time this year. For the past 8 years, I've taught the Advanced Drama course and I have no idea where to begin. Anyone have any ideas or lessons ...

Good morning, I've been asked to add theatre arts to my NC teaching license after teaching it for 8 years. Does anyone have any suggestions for online classes that I could take to fulfill my requirements? Looking for online resources (community college, college/ university) so I can continue to teach ...

Each year our spring musical is the last production of the year. We have started a tradition of honoring our seniors with a small token or gift. My question is what night of the show should I do it? We have a Friday and Saturday evening show and a Sunday matinee. Do it at all 3 shows or just the last ...

Jason, I have used Right On Cue Services for the past several years (https://www.rightoncueservices.com/). It's an extra fee for musical licensing, but they work well and my students seem to enjoy having the practice tracks. We live in a small area that doesn't have the resources to provide a pit ...

Last season my students and I put on "Til Death Do Us Part" by Craig Sodaro from Eldridge Publishing and had a blast with it. You plant some of the students in the audience to help with "finding" clues. The audience reaction and feedback I got was awesome. Easy to costume and set wise as well. Hope this ...
