We did Grease the High School Version last spring. If you will send me your email address, I will send you a copy of my invoice which will explain the many different costs. ------------------------------ Ellen Starkey Drama/Vocal Teacher Baton Rouge LA ------------------------------

I am looking for input about which mics everyone prefers for musical theater. I need mics that can stand up to numerous costume changes, extremely inexperienced performers, and just generally work every time that I need them to work. Like everyone, I have a limited amount of funding but please hit me ...

We did Grease last spring and I have our Greased Lightening car. Our set is VERY simple as is the car. It is made out of plywood and it is on casters. One side is nice and of course the other side is the worn out side. It was designed by a local professional artist and is very well done. If you are interested, ...

The only way that I am aware of that you can get the Accompaniment CD is to purchase the MTI JR show pack. It contains the practice CD's for the students as well as the actual performance accompaniment CD. If you have already purchased the "regular" Pippin, I am unsure what you might be able to work ...

When I first read through the script, I felt that some of the lines were a bit silly but because there are so many lines, the few that I thought seemed "watered down" just blended in. We are a private, Christian school and ...

Does anyone have an idea for a skit/short play for two teenage girls that is for Christmas? I already have my play in place but I have two girls that are doing outstanding work and I would like to showcase them at the end of a very serious play close to Christmas. I would like for it to be no longer ...

I have seen this handled in several different ways. In my state, we do not have a course number for Musical Theater so historically we have just assigned students to either Advanced Chorus or Advanced Theater which would meet at the same time. My classes have always led to major productions. I learned ...

I know that I am about to be thrown under the bus but as "basically" a music director, I have found it very difficult throughout my tenure when it comes to musicals and the direction that they take each year. I have 20 years of experience both as a choral director and also as a musical theater director. ...
