    Has anyone performed Amelie with High School?  Are the  ensemble numbers fun?  What are the difficulties and the joys?

    I have not produced it but having seen the show, I can not imagine it being overly fun. The creators of the musical "did not understand the assignment" when it came to adapting such a charming and delightful movie.

    We produced it right before the pandemic shut us down!  It was an awesome, small high school musical.  Very do-able.  Very enjoyable.  The message of the play resonated wonderfully with our community.

    We produced the pilot production and had an incredible experience. I'm happy to talk about specifics if you like. It is a wonderful show and works really well for a cast of about 20 or so. The ensemble nature of the piece was a blast, and the more you try to incorporate your own creativity vs. replicate the quirkiness of the film the better!
