A classically trained vocalist and accomplished musical-theater performer, Jasmine Ammons Bucher educates dozens of young artists a year as the director of Palmyra Area High School’s annual musical. She is a board member of the Hershey Area Playhouse, president of the PHS Musical Boosters, and specializes in theater education and licensing.
Jasmine received an Honorable Mention for the 2018 Tony Award for Excellence in Theatre Education, and is a member of the Educational Theatre Association. During the summer of 2019, she is working with the creators of the Broadway musical Amélie to develop the high school edition of this imaginative musical about kindness and human connection. In her full-time career, she is an instructor and director of educational technology at Lebanon Valley College. Jasmine holds a BA in English and MBA from Lebanon Valley College. She also holds an MA in humanities from The Pennsylvania State University.
