For those of you who have done virtual shows, have you found a platform with a pay to view option?

My company is setting up a virtual camp and will have a final showcase that will stream, but would like to "sell tickets" to an audience to view. Who has found a website/company they like or have used with success?

    Hi,
I have not done virtual shows yet, but showtix4u offers some tools.  You can livestrream, do a scheduled broadcast, or a video on demand style of performance.

    Good luck!

    Hi Alyssa!

Good to see you participating from Georgetown! My cousin, George McGee taught theatre there!

I've been using a service called "Calendly" where folks can buy tickets for shows that I perform on Zoom.

It's not necessarily designed with theatre in mind, and the one comment I get on occasion is that you usually have to click one or two times more than expected to get a confirmation, but it's otherwise efficient and inexpensive.

Tonight, I'm performing my one-man show, "Shakespeare's Histories; Ten Epic Plays at a Breakneck Pace!" at 9:00 Central Time, and I'm selling tickets for just $5 at https://calendly.com/timmooneyrep .

BookTix is also an option. We haven't used them, but I've heard great things about the company!

    Hey all,
If you are looking for a virtual platform for performances, workshops (they have even had sporting events), check out AnywhereSeat by Ludus!  It is easy to set up, and free to use.  They just hosted a week long conference as well!  Worth checking out.  https://anywhereseat.com
