    Here you go!!

I posted this last year, and thought I'd repost with a few additions made by others!

Now, a friend stated that they took less than this when they went into the Rainforest, but I assured them that trekking through the RF has nothing on a week at FESTIVAL!!  ;)

After many years of attending ITF, I have a list of "Must Haves" that I share with my students in preparation for festival!  Feel free to share the list AND if you don't see your "Must Haves" then added them!!

Air Freshener - for your room.
    Clothes Hangers
    Iron
    Hair Dryer
Water Bottles in your fridge - You must stay hydrated!
    Shower Caddy
    Shower shoes/flip flops
Comfortable Shoes (several pairs) - leave the new shoes at home!
Shoes and clothes for dance & movement workshops
    Band aids
    Extra Deoderant - seriously!
    Extra socks
    Extra underwear - yes, seriously!
Sweater/Jacket - the theatres can get cold.  My girls sit on them in the Lied since the fabric is a bit scratchy.
Umbrella/Rain poncho - it is going to rain...
    Notebook/pens, pencils, etc
    Backpack/Tote/Messenger Bag
Sunscreen -  if you burn easily
Febreeze - sweat never smells nice.
Tide To Go or Shout wipes - spills happen
Cell phone (duh) and your charger - yes, people forget to bring them!
Sunglasses, hat, scarf - whatever you prefer to keep the sun from getting to you.
Dry Erase markers - you have a whiteboard on your dorm door
Earbuds - don't irritate your roommate!
    Water bottle!

Personally, I bring my own towel (I just like it better) and a fleece blanket to add to the bed.  I also bring extra plastic grocery bags to put in the bottom of the drawers before putting items in them.  Yes, I actually unpack...it makes it easier during the week.

If all else fails, there is a Walgreens just a few blocks from the Lied, so items you've forgotten can be purchased.

    My best!

    Carolyn
