I have heard rumors that there will be a junior version of Chicago coming out in 2018. Can anyone confirm this? If not, how easy is it to adapt it from an R rating to PG?

The standard version of CHICAGO may not be adapted or altered, but we're very excited to start accepting applications for CHICAGO: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION in 2018!

We hope to have more information in early 2018. We're looking forward to sharing CHICAGO: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION with as many schools and youth organizations as possible.

Do you think the original version of CHICAGO would have an "R" Rating. I think of it as PG -- even the movie which I think is terrific but overly sexual and violent is rated PG-13.

BTW: I am uncomfortable with assigning movie ratings to theatre productions.

iTheatrics workshopped a High School Edition of Chicago two summers ago. There has not been a release date for it yet.
