Hello, I am looking for plays that depict or deal with therapy, and I having trouble finding titles besides Equus and Beyond Therapy. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Just Like I Wanted https://www.playscripts.com/play/1526 has two or three scenes in a group therapy session, but that is not the main focus of the play.

David and Lisa is a good show with a somewhat muddled message.  Great vehicle for the two leads and the therapist.

A young nun (Sister Agnes) become pregnant through what she perceives as immaculate conception. Dr. Martha Livingstone is a psychiatrist assigned by the state to investigate the case. She comes in conflict with the Mother Superior who wants to believe and defends the possibility of the miracle.

Hi. If you want something that is teachable and can be used with talkbacks, there is Group S.O.S by Bonnie Culver. It's about a therapy group of survivors of sexual abuse with both a male and a female version. There is one book that combines the two versions. There is no language problem or graphic material and it's been done for high schools with discussion afterward. Runs about an hour. I also wrote a one-act comedy about a character or may or may not be a therapist called The Devil's Due.
