I am directing "Into the Woods" Jr and have to cut it to 45 minutes for a competition. Any thoughts? Would love any tips from those who have directed the piece in general. What worked well?? Thinking of adding "forest spirits" as extras who can help with set changes etc. and become trees and things at times throughout.....

Have you checked with MTI about cutting possibilities and if they allow it?
