Can anybody recommend an "Alice in Wonderland" script that is meaty enough for high schoolers? Preferably with a run time of 90 minutes.

We did this version this spring. It closer to a 2-hour run but was a really good piece

I almost did “Wonderland” this year, it’s a Pioneer version. It’s the first time I considered doing An Alice in W. Please post if you find a version you like better because this one is on my list of possibilities.

Last fall we did Alice's Adventures in Wonderland adapted by Simon Reade. We had students compose music, plan choreography, and design the color schemes/backdrops for the set.

Alice in Wonderland by Jason Pizzarella.  Playscripts.com has it.  Pretty true to the book.  We just did it at my high school kids loved working on the project.  It is actually very difficult material when you really put the layers of subtext and content into it.

Looks like you have lots of good options, and I want to throw another one into the mix. The Michele L. Vacca version from classicsonstage.com. It is a nice 2 act version, well edited, and has tons of opportunities for great physical humour and creativity. We had a lot of fun with it! 27 roles, with only 5 of these being small. We doubled up some of those. Have fun, whichever one you choose!
