  • 1.  Coal Dust for "Digging Up The Boys"

    Part of this play is set in a coal mine; any suggestions for how we could add a look of "coal dust" to our costumes without ruining costumes? I have the face and hand makeup ready, but I'm worried about ruining borrowed costume pieces. I want the illusion of a coal mine costumee without going extremely overboard. Is makeup enough to sell the illusion?

    We bought a makeup product call coal dust. It worked very well. It makes a mess but it cleans up. I think it came from The Costumer.
