    I have a few parent who are leaving this year and I want to recognize them. Most have been with me for 8 years and have had multiple children in my program. What do you guys do to recognize parents like this?

    Have you considered making them Honorary Thespians and honoring them at your annual ceremony (if you have one)? I've done this in the past.

    I agree.  We did the same for some parents (my parents, actually) who have helped with the plays and our speech program since I started coaching/directing in 2010.  They help and support was instrumental in reinstating thespians at our school.

    The troupe decided that honorary thespians would also receive a small award (we chose the ice crystal from the trophy store.  Looks nice its cost effective!) and we started a perpetual plaque for honorary thespians, as well.
