Hi all,

Like many of you I have the hardest working tech teatre kids who want to learn more over the summer.  Does anyone know of any summer programs that specifically gives opportunities to teach kids who are interested in tech theatre  -  stage management, running crew, lighting, sound, costume?  Preferably in the Southeast since I am in an Atlanta suburb.

You might want to reach out to SCAD (Savannah School of Art & Design).  I spoke with their rep at length at our State Thespian Festival and they seem to have a lot of summer programs.  Hope this helps!

The Patel Conservatory in Tampa, FL hosts a Stage Management Bootcamp and Summer Apprentice Workshop each year. The Summer SM Bootcamp is a one-day event that includes lunch. Let me know if you have additional questions. 813-222-6413
