Has anyone earned a Drama License through the Ohio Department of Education?  Can you tell me what that process was like?

    Thank You,

    Miss Wilson

    Kayla-

Currently Ohio's theatre licensure is a K-12 license. To my knowledge there are only three universities in Ohio currently offering theatre education degrees: Ohio Wesleyan, Wittenberg and University of Akron. There is the possibility of earning alternative licensure through the ODE based on previous education and professional experience, but I am not certain of the hoops that need to be jumped through.

    This link should help: http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Teaching/Educator-Licensure/Resident-License-Options/Alternative-Resident-Educator-Licenses/Alternative-Resident-Educator-License-for-teaching

I'm pretty sure Drama is covered under the ELA license but I'm not 100% positive.  I don't think it's the best path, but one of least resistance.
