We're working on a story for the April issue of
Dramatics we'd like your help with. The working title is "Great Moments in Technical Theatre." It will be an annotated inventory, probably organized into a timeline, of the big ideas and technical innovations that forever changed the way live entertainment design and production is done, from the introduction of electric light to digital audio and beyond. We'll be consulting experts and doing our own historical homework on this, but we also want to know what you think are the key inventions and ideas, big and small, that have changed the course of technical theatre.
To participate, go to our
webform, here (soon, please: we've only got six weeks to pull this together). We look forward to hearing from you.
