  • 1.  Thespy's Example Videos

    EdTA filmed superior-rated Thespys at ITF a few years ago and published videos like this one (click here). Does anyone have access to these videos or similar ones? They are beneficial for sending to new troupes and students who want to understand what a Thespy entails. I have most of these original films. I'm missing Group Musical.

    Also, EdTA had videos from judges with insight into what made specific presentations superior ratings (click here). Again, it is super helpful for new troupes and students to understand what judges are looking for. I'm missing videos for Costume Construction judges' advice and Costume Design judges' advice.

    I can't find these videos on the Thespy's Website. Thanks for any insight. Hope everyone's school years started great!

    I don't have access to the videos, but this sounds like a great resource! Could you post the other videos you have access to? I'm in year 3 of doing Thespys with my students and working to build the program in Wisconsin. You are right there are lots of FAQs that exemplars and judge comments would be helpful to have! (And I'm actually presenting on Thespys this week at our state teacher's conference if you can share the videos you have ASAP...).
