Thespy Scholarship Applications are open until April 30th! These scholarships are largely for graduating seniors, but there are two categories for 9th-11th graders. This is a separate digital process that runs on its own--students can apply whether or not they attend ITF in person.
Thespy Scholarships:
- Amy Bennett Musical Theatre Scholarship: graduating seniors who plan to study musical theatre
- Thespy Eligibility: Superior in Solo Musical Theatre
- Grace Kelly College Scholarships: graduating seniors who plan to pursue their artistry in college
- Thespy Eligibility: Superior in solo and duet performance categories or technical design and construction categories (excluding Short Film, Playwriting, Stage Management, Theatre Marketing)
- Grace Kelly Training Scholarships: 9th, 10th, and 11th graders seeking additional training for their artistry outside of school
- Thespy Eligibility: Superior in solo and duet performance categories or technical design and construction categories (excluding Short Film, Playwriting, Stage Management, Theatre Marketing)
- Marion Combs Career Inspiration Scholarship: BIPOC graduating senior pursuing their artistry in college or another training program
- Thespy Eligibility: Superior in any category
- Open Jar Musical Theatre Scholarship: any high school student interested in a summer musical theatre intensive in NYC
- Thespy Eligibility: Superior in Solo or Duet Musical Theatre
Any Thespian who received a Superior rating at their qualifying event is eligible to submit an application for any category they fit! Contact foundation@schooltheatre.org with any questions.
