I have seen a number of folks asking about including more technical theatre but looking for some training. La Jolla Playhouse (near San Diego, CA) is offering a summer intensive June 26-30 this year. There is a three-day intensive and two single-day intensives about Set Construction/Design on a Budget and Lights/Sound Intensive to help demystify those new sound and light boards many of us may have recently acquired but are unsure how to run them effectively.
