A couple of us recently posted a suggestion in another thread that you might have missed, recommending Deborah Brevoort's The Women of Lockerbie, published by Dramatists Play Service/Broadway Licensing. It has a female-heavy cast which even the playwright suggests expanding by dividing certain roles among more actors, and the set can be handled very simply. I staged it in a black-box space, and I created the Scottish hills by covering a few step units and some small platforms (that we already had on hand) with camouflage netting in several different woodsy color patterns. I represented the stream with a long strip of fabric that had a watery blue print pattern (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FKCJVKV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - no need for actual running water.

Subject: Tech and Female-Dominant Cast
I am looking for some play ideas to perform in a small wooden box theater with about 15 students (more females than males). I have read many of the recent posts, but the tech seems so huge to try to do in my space. Any ideas? Thank you for your help, in advance.
