Hello, esteemed colleagues!
I am considering trying to do a Students Playwriting Festival for our spring Upper School production. My idea is that I would work with students writers after the fall theater production closes in early November so that we have some short plays drafted by the time we usually have auditions for the spring show (February). Pre-COVID, we used to do an Instant Theater Festival at the end of the year, and I guess what I'm imagining is a less frantic version of that.
If you have done something like this, I would very much appreciate any guidance or suggestions you may have. Thank you in advance!
