Hello, my name is Paul Gabbard. I am the volunteer chair of Playwriting for the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC). SETC offers an exciting award for high school educators who incorporate playwriting into their curriculum. The Innovative Playwriting Instruction Awards of IPIA are offered to high school educators who live in the region of SETC, are members of SETC, or are willing to join.
The winner receives a $1,000 honorarium and recognition at the festival, as well as in SETC's national publication. The deadline for submissions is September 15th.
