Hello everyone! Our school theatre program in Knoxville, TN is preparing to produce The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe this fall, and we are currently searching for options for portraying Aslan.
We would love recommendations for:
- Companies or individuals who rent large lion puppets/costumes
- Puppet makers who might take commissions
- Schools or theatres that have done the show and would be willing to share advice or resources
We are especially interested in something with a strong theatrical/puppet aesthetic rather than a traditional mascot-style costume. Our performances are November 5–7, so we still have some planning time.
