Greetings community! I'm looking to do a regency theater piece with my high schoolers next year and am looking for any feedback regarding engaging, clever script adaptations you may have encountered.  I am open to both straight plays and musicals. Thanks in advance!

I  know you asked for Regency, but I strongly suggest "The Learned Ladies" by Moliere. The translation by Richard Wilbur is wonderful and keeps the Baroque tone with rhymed couplets. Strong roles for women and not quite as racy as some farces from the period.
