We did Puffs this past fall. To be perfectly honest, this was possibly one of the most tech heavy shows we have done. We had more props for this show than anything I have ever been involved with, and the costuming was a bear but oh so much fun. Really, the show is worth the work. I agree with the other poster who recommended purchasing the sound files. So, challenging? Yes! But it is also the most fun we have ever had doing a show.

The show will run two hours. It's a lot of fun but as others have said, the tech aspect is a lot. I strongly recommend buying the sound used in the original production. You first purchase the music from Brian Metolius and then the playwright, Matt Cox, will send you a file with all the sound cues including music in a file once you pay his fee. It's totally worth it. Both Brian and Matt were very helpful and responsive when I had questions for them. Start practicing with the sounds in QLAb in rehearsal as soon as you get the file. It will save you a lot of time in tech rehearsals.

Has anyone done the 90 minute one act for Young Wizards version, and is it streamlined down or is it just shortened and without crude language? What tech is involved? I'm going to order the script, but before I spend my own money on it I would like to know how tech heavy it is.
