just found out that I got approved for my short-throw high-lumen projector, and I want to use it for our upcoming show. I have a black back wall and need something quick and easy to hang, as there probably isn't enough time to paint it. Additionally, my district takes a long time to set up a new vendor, so I'm looking for a solution on Amazon. I know I could research this further, but I'm feeling overwhelmed right now.

Literally a sheet would do the trick. Or paper. Just depends on how wide you need it. Take lumens and divide that by the amount of the width of your image.

Paper would likely NOT work for rear projection.  You could try a sheet... but they are generally a pretty tight weave and the white would reflect back a lot of the light from the projector.

As long as you don't need an image more than 10 feet (120 inches) high, unbleached muslin will work fairly well.  It's available on Amazon in bolts that are 120 inches.  You obviously don't want a seam in rear projection.
