To get the door to slight off it's hinges or to fall out of the jamb, replace the pins in the hinges with homemade wire pins. Pull the pins and the door will be ready to fall when opened. If it is a little loose in the jamb and falls on it's own, install some magnets to keep it in place.
If you want the door to pivot off the hinges and hang sort of off axis, install the hinges on pivot blocks within the jamb. Those blocks can be circles or odd shapes, sort of trial and error there. But the basic principle is to hinge the door on the jamb side on the pivot blocks on center, then pull the pin for the block and the door will pivot to off center and hang in the opening. Another option is to use a cable on the top of the door that runs through a pick point in the jamb with a stop. When the pin is pulled on the hinge, the door falls away from the jamb.
