  • 1.  Non-specific Winter One Act

    Hello!  I am looking for a one act for students in grades 6th to 8th that has the themes of joy, hope, celebration, family, etc...that you would find in a traditional winter type holiday play, but looking for something that is not specific to any religion.  This will be performed by my Jr. Thespian troupe in December in front of the entire school grades Pre-K to 8.  I would appreciate any recommendations or advice.  Thanks so much!

    The Snow Show by Lindsay Price (Theatrefolk) is one I come back to year after year. It's a vignette play so there are all kinds of fun scenes and flexible casting and then there are 3 main roles that stay consistent throughout the play. It focuses on snow, and the joys of the winter season without mentioning Christmas or Santa or any kind of religious undertones. I use it with my high school kiddos but younger kids would love it too. It is always well received by our audience. :)

    I second Snow Show. I did it remotely in December of 2020 and will be doing it this year. Also HI! Hope y'all are doing well.
