Hi!
I just finished this show in the fall! We had a small bundle tied for each newsie. We made 3' stacks with styrofoam that students could sit on or stand on. I have some extra large print of the "newspaper" that you attach to the styrofoam. We have extra "paper" to cover the styrofoam, and I could easily cut you a good deal. Our students only held up the newspaper paper with the Once and For song where the headline mattered. I stressed a lot about these papers but ended up having students create them in Canva to look old - created the title, an article, etc., and unless you were on the front two rows, you couldn't see the titles anyway. I printed them on 11x17 paper at school - saved hundreds of dollars. I also have a fantastic printing press that works. . . if you know anyone looking for one. I can't bear to throw it out. I hope this helps

Subject: Newsies papers?
For those who have done Newsies recently: how many newspapers did you order for your shows and rehearsals? Don't want to over or under order. Thanks for any advice!
