March is Theatre In Our Schools (TIOS) Month, a time for educators and students to amplify the vital role theatre plays in their schools and communities.
To help you start planning now, we've launched the new TIOS Toolkit, a collection of ready-to-use advocacy resources to support your TIOS campaign this March and beyond.
What's in the TIOS Toolkit?
- Advocacy-centered lesson plans (now available in EdTA's new Learning Center)
- A Local Advocacy Guidebook for students, helping them speak up for theatre education in their own words
Schools that actively use the toolkit during TIOS Month may be eligible to earn the TIOS Outstanding Impact Award, recognizing educators and students who thoughtfully engage in advocacy efforts throughout March.
