  • 1.  Musical for 15-20

    Hello All,

    Looking for a musical next year with a cast of 15-20.  I have two very strong males and a few females who are also strong.  Probably can't do The Producers so I'm looking for something that might highlight my two male with a strong supporting cast.  I have a few titles in mind but would love to hear anyone's thoughts.

    We did Something Rotten last year. Nick and Nigel Bottom and both great parts. You do need someone strong to be Shakespeare as well. We had a female Nostradamus. The show is amazingly funny. We all want to do it again and again!

    A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Elf, or Guys and Dolls would be some fun options. I also love The Soongebob Musically and Matilda.  The Lightning Thief might be a good fit, too. Good luck. 

    I do let my student suggest scripts and sometimes they have the best lens for what we need.

    Guys and Dolls comes to mind, but if you school has a marching band/instrumental music program, you can do The Music Man
