Our spring show is Ken Ludwig's Midsummer /Jersey. Has anyone done this show before? Our set is in good shape, but I want to double up on the cast; that is, have actors play multiple roles. If you have a list of how you did just that, I would love to hear how. I'm thinking 12 to 15 actors but I could do more or less!
    Thanks!

We did this as our play last year, we did the number of actors the show called for and it was QUITE a few with all the fairies.
Its a fun show to work on- Enjoy

I have done this show twice now!  It's one of my favorites.  I used the "adults" as the fairies.  My cast was 20 people.  Hard to double up the other parts, as they would have to change costumes/identities very quickly.  Also, the majority of the cast is on stage for the final scene.

    Principal Platt/Peasblossom………………………
    Chris Athens, the Governor/Cobweb…………
    Hippolyta, his fiancé/Sunflower…………
    Phillip Trait, secretary/Mote…………………
    Justine Dicarlo, chief of staff/Sunshine………
    Rufus Dicarlo, her husband/Turtle……………

I've recently put together "Breakneck Midsummer Night's Dream" which reduces the cast size to six. I'd be happy to share a copy, if you're interested.
