  • 1.  meetings for Thespian Troupe

    How many meetings per month do you typically have for your Thespian troupe? Do you have more meetings for the officers? Also how far back in time do outside of school theatre experiences count towards points? Can they count points from kindergarten???? Thanks for any ideas or insights!- Caitlin

    My students tend to be so busy, between school shows and community shows and theater schools shows, I can barely get them to meet once a month!  I typically meet with my officers in August and plan out the year.  We do meet at minimum once a month.  Sometimes our "meetings" are attending an event together, going to a workshop, or supporting one of the school shows by building sets or something similar.
    My students are 9-12.  I allow them to count any points earned from 7-9 grade for membership, then their count starts over after induction.  Points earned towards honors can only be earned after induction.

    Hi!
    I hold meetings twice a month for all members and every Monday for president and vice-president. My kids are 9-12, and I allow points from MS.

    The most our troupe meets is once per month. yes, officers meet more often. We do not count non-school theatre activities.
