We are currently getting ready to -produce Mary Zimmerman's The Odyssey for our fall show. We would love any insights from those who may have produced this before. What worked well? What did not? Thanks in advance. We are very excited!

We loved this play! we used blue plastic packing donated from a local lumber yard (in4x8 sheets) to simulate the water, and a simple golden light and golden chair on wheels for the Midas scene. Our set was simply a big white flat with a door on one side and an upper level for a few gods to stand on. The white wall made it easy to use projections, like multiple hilarious selfies for Narcissus. We had such a blast!
