    Hello Everyone

I am looking for a script to be performed for 4-5 kids aged 10-12 years old to perform in a Theatre festival. The script should be 30 mins or longer.  All suggestions are welcomed.

Hello, I have two scripts (with music) for all ages. I just recently listed them on Teachers Pay Teachers and JW Pepper. They are: The Frog Prince and The Magic Fish. The Frog Prince is an award-winning piece. Both are 50 minutes with music. They could be done without music as well. Look for them under my name, Jan Callner. There is no royalty fee involved. Good luck!

"The Mother Goose News Hour" is a 30-40 minute comedy that weaves together beloved nursery rhymes in a Saturday Night Live-style narrative.  At the heart of the play lies a delightful mystery: the disappearance of Little Boy Blue.  As the news team embarks on their quest to find him, each nursery rhyme character contributes a piece of the puzzle, making the storyline both intriguing and entertaining.  Here's a link to the script in the YouthPLAYS publisher's catalog:

    Hi Akansha,

I have a one-act called "Olyander Rabbit Moves to the Rain Forest".  It has previously been performed by a 2nd grade class, as well as a middle school class who 'toured' it to the local elementary schools.  So 10 – 12 years olds would do great!

    Here's the synopsis:

A rabbit named Olyander comes to live in the tropical rain forest.  Two animals; Mac, a macaw and Lemmy, a ring tailed lemur, do not want an "outsider" coming to live in their forest, and they plot how to "convince" Olyander Rabbit to leave, but each plan back fires, harming only themselves.  From this they learn several important lessons:
    a.  acceptance/tolerance of people who are different than you / from different cultures
    b.  don't be mean to others, it will only backfire on you in the end, and
    c.   make up your own mind if you like someone, despite what some of your peers think
There is a surprise "interracial" marriage proposal at the end and everyone lives in harmony for ever after. The play also teaches flora and fauna of the tropical rain forest.

I know you mentioned 4 to 5 kids, but you would be free to adapt it (minor lines distributed or deleted) to be played by just the 6 main characters, if that would work. No royalties – just send me some photos!  This version is for 13 actors, and there is also a version for a full class – 28 characters (also adaptable) – if anyone is interested in that too, please email me at CruiseTechies@gmail.com.  I've attached the (adaptable) 13 character version here.

    All the best,
    Beth
