Patrick,
Where in Ohio are you located? We used Lighthouse Sound for our sound system overhaul and have been very pleased. Mike Staffan,
mike@lsc-1.com. He is located near Dayton but travels to us in Harrison (west of Cincy). Highly recommend.

Subject: Help with Sound System
After 30 years of faithful service, our sound system is on its last legs and I need some help. We recently replaced our 1990-era Shure control board with a Yamaha TF5, but it was like putting lipstick on a pig when the rest of the sound system is so glitchy that the system cycles down at the slightest mic pop or application of FX. We currently have 4 Crest Audio CKS 400 power amplifiers that are growing more temperamental with age and need replacing. Sound engineering is not in my wheelhouse and I am finding it difficult to find someone who is willing to help me out. The current amps drive our House PA system, Floor monitors, and BS remote monitors and I am looking for a solution to replace the current amps without having to replace the entire system. We are doing our theatre renovation piecemeal as the budget allows and this is our most pressing issue. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
