John Lewis challenged us to "get in good trouble, necessary trouble." For theatre education, that looks like showing up, telling the truth about impact, and advocating for equitable access to the arts.
EdTA's 2026 Advocacy Summit (March 26–27, Washington, D.C.) is a hands-on convening for educators, students, artists, and Theatre Kids who want practical advocacy skills and a clear plan for action.
To help bring the theme to life, the first 50 registrants will receive tickets to Mosaic Theatre Company's Young John Lewis: Prodigy of Protest, running concurrently during the Summit.
If theatre helped shape your leadership, your communication skills, or your sense of belonging, this is the moment to make that story count.
