My favorite winter play is "A Christmas Carol." There are so many versions of it. There is a wonderful story theatre version of it that Paul Sills wrote. It's in a collection of Story Theater plays called: Paul Sills' Story Theater: Four Shows.

I second "Snow Angel" -- fantastic script. The extremely popular "Almost, Maine." Also, "Seven Keys to Baldpate" takes place during a winter storm -- it's in the public domain, too, so no barriers to adapting the script to fit your group.

I've done all three of the plays that Cora recommends, and they were all popular with the students and audiences.

My favorite is probably The Man Who Came to Dinner. It is so much fun. There are a lot of complex moving parts and it requires a big box set, but we were able to pull it off, and our students had a BLAST.
