I run an educational theater co. called Envision Theater based in Northern New Jersey. We are currently hiring theater teaching artists for the school year with residencies in elementary, middle and high schools. drama teachers for:
School #1- 5th grade, 2 classes, meets weekly for the school year in Paramus NJ meets Tuesdays 11-11:40 and 12:34-1:15 (pays/class)
School # 2- 5th grade, 2 classes, meets by semester in Paramus, NJ, Tues 9-930, 9:35-10:05 and Wed 2:05-2:35, 2:40-3:10 (pays/class)
(It's possible to have both gigs and work at school 1 and school 2 as they are near each other.)
School #3- Woodmere,( 5 Towns )Long Island- play director for an all boys private high school. play begins rehearsal in September and performance is in late March. Salaried position, based on experience.

Envision Theater is an educational theater company serving students in North Jersey, Long Island (5 Towns area) and Philadelphia. We are looking to expand our teaching artist roster with creative, dedicated and experienced teaching artists. We partner with schools to develop original collaborative in-school residences, run after school performing arts programs, drama clubs and full-scale productions with students in grades k-12. We also produce Envision Shakespeare, a HS Shakespeare competition and festival for which we need judges and workshop leaders.
