I am going into rehearsal now for the third time with the same group of students on a pretty heavy show. The main six actors don't leave the stage the entire show. How do I get them to continue to improve their characters, push themselves to see the show with fresh eyes, and keep the tempo from dragging because they have performed this show so many times? I am looking for exercises and advice that I can implement into rehearsal. I don't want to run the show another 100 times. I want them to build on their success that they have already had thus far.
