I am directing Curious Incident of the dog in the nighttime next Fall.  We are looking for staging/set/animation ideas.  Has anyone rented packages for projection? Send pictures, contacts, please.

Hi there.  We are currently in the throes of  TCIOTDITN-T and made the decision since we are not the National Theatre, that trying to do ALLLLL that projection work would actually distract the audience (in our space) from focusing on what we deemed most important - which is hearing Christopher's story and seeing behavior  through his eyes.  We have several videos which are being projected directly onto our black fiber optic star panels (thanks to a production of SILENT SKY).  These projections include moving math problems, British advertisements, and a red line.  We have worked hard on our sound design to find sounds that might best represent the feelings Christopher is experiencing.    I hope this is somewhat helpful?

    Hi Jolaine,

I hope you have a successful production. We used the following websites for projections instead of a package.
    https://stock.adobe.com/free

In terms of staging, the ensemble helped to create Christopher's inner thoughts/world through creative movement becoming objects/set pieces, and we also incorporated beatboxing for sound elements.
    Best,
