Hi! This upcoming year I am creating my own curriculum for a preschool - first grade program called the Creative Arts. This program will combine music, visual art, dance, and drama throughout the year. My main objective is to use picture books and bring them to life with different aspects of the arts. I am having a difficult time narrowing down a curriculum map and planning out overall themes that carry across my four main subjects.

If anyone has done something like this in the past, I'd love some guidence!

    Hi Faith,

My go-to for all things creative drama is Creative Drama in the Classroom and Beyond by Nellie McCaslin. The 8th edition was the last before she passed away and while it may soon be dated, it is packed with ideas for creative arts projects and lessons. Break a leg!
