    Does anyone have a relatively cheap source for China Silk or similar fabric?  It will be used for creating a water effect on stage.  Rose Brand is just too far outside of my budget.

    I just want to interject that using the china silk in this way is wonderful, but that there will be a lot of it on stage. Because of that it WILL need to be flame retarded, which Rose Brand sells.  A great effect, I recommend you get a "wave sponsor "and get it, and plan to use it in other ways on subsequent productions to spread out the cost.
