Hi! I've actually created a card game for theatre kids and teachers called Famous Playwrights that comes in four versions: Classic, American, Women, and Composers. It's suitable for ages 8 and up with the objective to collect four plays by a single playwright to create a set. The player with the most sets at the end wins.
I created it initially for my middle school students who always wanted to know the 'famous plays' without my having to assign research reports. Instead, they play the game, absorb the titles and playwrights' names into their vernacular, and get excited when they see a show by 'someone they know' being produced on stage. I've also had many high school IB teachers tell me they use them to familiarize their students with various theatre practitioners for their investigation and individual performance requirement.
Unfortunately the website for online sales is under development, however feel free to DM my IG page (@kztheatre) and I'd be happy to explain more.

Subject: Board or card Games for theatre
Hi
I just spent the last twenty minutes of my last class of the quarter playing Uno with my students and I realized this was a really good thing - they had to engage with each other, it was totally non threatening and they were having fun. So it got me thinking are there board games out there that are theatre related - particularly backstage elements?
I hope somebody has some ideas - if they don't exist maybe we need to get a group together and design one!!!
