    Melinda,

We did Big Fish about 7 or 8 years ago, and I would highly recommend it.  It is a beautiful story, and the music definitely helps tell the story.  Your cast and audience will respond well to the show.

I do have some suggestions.  You will need some strong male singers and actors, especially  for Edward and Will.  Your Sandra needs to be a strong singer as well.  You'll also need to figure out how you will "fill" your stage with daffodils for "Daffodils."  The more the better. You will also want to decide what you are going to do with Karl the Giant as early as possible.  We had our Karl on painter's stilts, but if you do that, you'll want to give him plenty of time to learn to walk in them or in whatever you choose to use to make him "giant" as it is tricky at first.

You won't be disappointed if you produce this show, so don't let the challenges deter you.

Good luck with whatever you choose to do,

    Ken Robinson

We did it 4 years ago, and it was probably our most successful show ever. The story is great, and our audience really connected with it. I echo everything Ken said, but I will add that if you have the capacity to use projections, then I highly recommend the projections they have available for you to purchase. They're beautiful!

    Christopher,

Do you happen to have costumes for the giant?

    Thank you,

Beautiful Show. Music is great but you really need good singers. Two Tenors for your male leads is a must. If you have that, do it in a heartbeat.

Break a leg and may all you theatre seats be filled.
