Your leadership is needed at EdTA's 2026 Advocacy Summit!

Theatre education is at a defining crossroads. Funding for the arts is being questioned in legislatures across the country, and the future of our students and our programs is tied to the choices policymakers make now.

Over two days in Washington, you will:

    • Train in interactive workshops that build practical advocacy skills grounded in evidence-based messaging.
    • Join strategy sessions that help educators, students, and supporters influence policy in Congress and in their home districts.
    • Meet directly with congressional offices to share firsthand stories about the impact of theatre in schools.

    Register Early!
The first 50 attendees will receive free tickets to Young John Lewis: Prodigy of Protest at Mosaic Theatre Company during the Summit.

Advocacy Summit is not simply a gathering, but a moment of collective action. It is an opportunity to turn inspiration into policy impact and to make the case for what theatre contributes to student engagement, attendance, and academic success.

If you have questions or need help with registration, email us at events@schooltheatre.org.

We will see you in Washington!
