Your leadership is needed at EdTA's 2026 Advocacy Summit!
Theatre education is at a defining crossroads. Funding for the arts is being questioned in legislatures across the country, and the future of our students and our programs is tied to the choices policymakers make now.
The 2026 Advocacy Summit, to be held March 26 and 27 in Washington, D.C., is a working event designed to equip you with the tools, skills, and strategies required to protect and expand theatre education at the national, state, and local levels. If we believe theatre is essential to a well-rounded education, then we must demonstrate that value in the rooms where policy is written.

The first 50 attendees will receive free tickets to Young John Lewis: Prodigy of Protest at Mosaic Theatre Company during the Summit.
Advocacy Summit is not simply a gathering, but a moment of collective action. It is an opportunity to turn inspiration into policy impact and to make the case for what theatre contributes to student engagement, attendance, and academic success.
