Here is a copy of mine. Oddly it's been a little controversial the past two years because we include in it the right we have to search their rehearsal bags, random drug test and even drug dog searches. Honestly this is something I actually did on only one occasion years ago, but it's still in there ...

If you are rear projecting your main "drops", you can add depth with some front projection as well. I have projected on a false proscenium, both on the sides and even above to create something of a frame. Another thing I suggest is to create something practical about 7 feet from the deck and keep the ...

May I add also, that once we opened and people actually saw it, not one complaint and lots of praise. ------------------------------ Christopher Piner Drama Teacher/director Uintah High School ------------------------------

We just did this show last season. The small cast enabled us to mitigate risk in the very best way. We usually do big and flashy. Bee was not only ideal for the circumstances, but the messaging (if you want it) is there and so important. The conversations with the cast and we studied this beautiful show ...

Though I was hesitant at first, I am now very happy with the treatment of our splintered stage. It was covered with a layer of Plyron, which is basically a sheet of plywood covered on both sides with masonite. This enables us to replace a damaged sheet by flipping it over first and eventually just replacing ...

Thank you so much. I had an overwhelming recommendation of Flipgrid here and another place I posted. I'm going to investigate it today! I may be back with more questions, haha! ------------------------------ Christopher Piner Drama Teacher/director Vernal UT ------------------------------

Hi All, I am going to conduct auditions for a small musical production (9 roles) with video submissions of vocals and a choreography sequence. I figure it is likely than some of you have already done this. I'm open for any tips and suggestions as well as technical ideas. Other than an email submission, ...

I am experiencing the exact same thing right now with our ticketing agent (Vendini). They typically disburse a check one month from our closing date, but we still haven't received anything. I understand delays with the current situation, but this is no longer reasonable. I think I'm even more worried ...

Bumping this back to the top. Also selling our configurable skate bowl and ramps centerpiece. Stunning show. Our community LOVED it. When I first announced the show, my kids groaned "you want us to play trains?" Now it's a favorite! And yes, all of my kids learned to skate for this. Most of them are ...

Another bump on this post. I know the show is not done very often due to technical challenges and this piece may be the biggest. I also have the full costume set. The costumes won Best in the State and are all hand built and hand painted. Beautiful. Reach out for more info. ------------------------------ ...

I do love this idea! She already has an awesome dragon-esque costume. She needs wings like these and we can just use her! ------------------------------ Christopher Piner Drama Teacher/director Vernal UT ------------------------------

We open Shrek March 6, and the dragon we had planned on just fell through. Does anyone have suggestions or recommendations of where I can buy or rent a dragon at this short notice. Feel free to email me directly chris.piner@uintah.net Just another bump in the road, right? I know some theatre magic will ...

There was a time in my career I would have maintained the stance of Robert and William below, and frankly I would STILL support them in their current circumstances. Ultimately we all understand best our own programs and the unique communities in which we live and work. For me teaching/directing has ...
