Rise to The Challenge at ITF this summer, as Disney Live Entertainment presents The BACKstage Challenge, a free opportunity for behind-the-scenes-oriented students to test their skills, make new connections, and have a great time!

Six technical challenges (and a few surprises) await in this unique opportunity that is open to all. On-site registration will be available Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24 for four-person teams, or partial teams and individuals looking to join a team. Teams can also be created by combining forces from several schools or troupes.

Want to get involved as a volunteer?

Troupe directors, teachers, and Adult Leaders are invited to volunteer to work with the Disney Live Entertainment Team, helping with Wednesday’s Qualifying Rounds. Any adult participant at ITF can apply as a volunteer here.

We are conducting our annual State of Theatre Education Survey to measure the prevailing demographics, trends, issues, and attitudes among theatre educators today, reflecting the 2024-25 academic year.

We know this is a busy time of year for educators and appreciate your participation. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As a thank you, one survey respondent will be chosen at random to receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
