    Hello!

I am trying to search for a good musical for this spring. I am looking at Crazy for You because it is a decent sized cast and features more than the leading male and female. I was wondering if any of you that have done this show had tips, suggestions, and/or warnings.

    Thanks in advance!!

I LOVED this show – very fun and accessible for high school students, great chorus participation. Specifically, this was some of the most beautiful music to learn.

It was a good number of years ago, but here's one thing I remember: we danced but we did not tap dance. That really helped our overall choreography.

    All the best,

    Amy

We just did this show last school year and had a blast.  It had long been on my list of shows to do and it went really well.  The biggest hurdle we faced was the set.  There were quite a few very large pieces, so there was a lot of building, a lot of intricate painting, and a lot of set movement that had to be carefully choreographed.  That may have just been a hurdle for me, because I usually like to keep things more simplistic in regards to set and because of the limitations of our performance space.

    Sarah,

Do you have photos of your sets for CRAZY FOR YOU that you can post?

    Thanks,

    Sonja
